Lightly toned B.Johnson American League ball which has been signed by (20) members of the American League Champion Yankees to include Ruth, Gehrig, Lazzeri, Pennock, Combs, Hoyt, Beall, Shocker, Collins, Bengough, Grabowksi, Meusel, Dugan, and manager Miller Huggins. Signatures range from 3 to 7 out of 10 with Ruth presenting nicely across the sweetspot and a combination of Gehrig/Huggins on a side panel. "Champions American League New York 1926" is neatly penned in period fountain pen across the manufacturer's stamping sweetspot. The 1926 variant of Yankee Championship team signed baseballs ranks as one of the most elusive of the 1920-1930s era with the offered exemplar numbering as the third of its type we have handled in twenty years.
