Description: Tony Lazzeri professional quality baseball bat c.1920s. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat measures 34 1/2" long and weighs 28.4oz. A fine example for display being several ounces lighter than those recorded as having been made for his use within factory records. Evident usage wear throughout with a nail repaired handle crack and some chipping/deadwood to barrel end. Lazzeri was a mainstay during the Yankees “Murders Row” run of the late 1920-30s era and his game bats remain extremely scarce with only a few known.
