Description: Notably scarce John F. Kennedy signed photograph with unique Ted Williams related notation c.1959. Black and white portrait photograph has been signed "To Dee Jay, With best wishes from a friend of Ted Williams - John F. Kennedy." Vintage fountain pen signature and inscription rate 7/8 to 8 out of 10. Framed for display (14"x18.75" overall) with 1959 dated Ted Williams secretarially signed photo, also inscribed "To Dee Jay." Kennedy photo has light wear evident through frame limited to surface wrinkling in isolated areas and small tear/chip at upper right. As relayed by the Powers family, Kennedy was shown the Williams signed photograph prior to it being passed along to the intended recipient and took it upon himself to autograph that which is offered here. Authentically signed Kennedy photographs are highly prized with this being the only example we are aware of with deep ties to baseball.
