Silverplated bowl as presented to Williams on November 10, 1988 by the Mayor of Boston Raymond Flynn "From an Admiring and Grateful City". City of Boston insignia is also engraved onto the front of the bowl with the titling. Marked Reed & Barton underneath, 9" diameter: EX-MT. The lot includes a program for the event picturing Williams on the front cover signed by (15) notables including Ted Williams, Joe DiMaggio, Reggie Jackson, Bob Doerr, Tip O'Neill, Curt Gowdy, John Glenn, Bob Feller, Dom DiMaggio, Tom Lasorda, and Stephen King.
