Description: Lot of materials with relation to the December 15, 1995 Ted Williams Tunnel opening. Selection of materials with relation to the construction and grand opening of Boston's Ted Williams Tunnel to include: Ted Williams Tunnel hat as worn by Williams, signed under the bill in silver sharpie; Cased presentational set including Ted Williams Tunnel souvenir baseball and card along with a metal tunnel damplate numbered "9" for Williams' uniform number. Glass top lid is etched with date, image of Williams, and facsimile signature; Ted Williams Tunnel site helmet with "9" on the back; and a large quantity of 8"x10" color images showing the various construction stages of the Tunnel along with Opening Day. The lot is accompanied by a 10"x14" Ted Williams autographed photographic print signed across the front in blue sharpie.
