Description: Collection of materials with relation to Ted Williams Camp c.1960-1970s. Selection of items as relating to the recreational athletic camp started by Ted Williams in 1958 at Lakeville, Massachusetts. Williams was very passionate about the camp and its service to the youth of New England, having attended a similar camp when he was young. Includes Ted Williams personal camp jacket made for Williams himself (size XXL) but not worn. "Ted" embroidered in red on the left shoulder area. Signed by Williams across the front in silver sharpie: NM. Ted Williams Camp "staff" polo shirt also apparently made for Williams (size XXL) but not worn is included as well: EX-MT. The lot also includes numerous Ted Williams Camp unused jerseys, shorts, tube socks, t-shirts, (3) award patches, (3) hats; (1) scarf; (2) award pins with envelope, and a vintage color photograph of Williams with campers.
