Description: Collection of Ted Williams items with relation to Washington Senators c.1968-1970. Grouping of several items as related to Ted Williams' tenure as manager of the Senators during the late 1960s to include: Figural inkwell having small cast iron Senators hat atop a marble base with pen receptacle. Affixed brass placard on front is engraved, "Ted Williams Washington Senators 1969 Manager": VG-EX; Figural desk lamp constructed of a tiered arrangement of (4) J.Cronin AL baseballs atop a painted wooden home plate shaped base. Plastic souvenir Senators helmet finial on top. Likely would need to be rewired for use: VG; Presentational June 1969 issue of "Sport Magazine" picturing Williams on the front cover with gilt lettering "Ted Williams" on front cover: VG-EX; "What a Baseball Manager Does" by Hoopes signed on the interior cover page, "Property Ted Williams 1969" in blue ink. Signature rates 10 out of 10: EX-EX/MT; March 1969 issue of Sports Illustrated picturing Williams on the front cover: EX; and album with approximately (30) vintage photographs and printed pieces relating to Williams' tenure as Senators manager: Range VG-NM.
