Description: Fine 1915 Boston Red Sox large format photograph with Babe Ruth. Uncommon large format 10"x13" sepia tone image picturing the American League and World Champion Boston Red Sox posed at Fenway Park in full uniform. Players are identified on the respective images including Duffy Lewis, Tris Speaker, Carl Mays, Harry Hooper, Joe Wood, manager Bill Carrigan, and a very young Babe Ruth. Titled at the bottom margin, "The Boston Red Sox-American League Champions Season 1915". Image quality and contrast is outstanding for the medium with few examples of this type and size surviving in similar grade. The 1915 season not only marked a World Championship title for the Red Sox franchise, but also was the first in the career of Babe Ruth.
