Description: Scarce 1938 Minneapolis Millers large format team photograph. Desirable period photograph of Ted Williams during his earliest days in professional baseball. He would only spend (1) season in Double-A ball where he earned the American Association Triple Crown before being called up to the Boston Red Sox. Sepia toned 10.5"x18.75" image (visible area) displays moderate wear with (1) small tear at either edge and pronounced vertical crease (which break surface). Rare photograph is the first we have handled and only the second copy which we have encountered. Framed to 19.5"x32.5" overall: VG/EXEstimated Price Range: ($2,500-$3,500)
