Description: Unique Ted Williams autographed jersey with multiple inscriptions and hand painted batting scene. Replica 1939 Boston Red Sox style home jersey signed across the front by Ted Williams in black sharpie along with five additional inscriptions as follows: "The Kid", "Splendid Splendin Splinter", "The Thumper", Terrible Ted", and "Theodore Samuel Williams". Signature and inscriptions rate 8 out of 10 with a few areas of minimal bleeding mentioned for accuracy only. The right panel of the jersey front features a hand painted color rendering of Williams in a batting pose by artist Gregg Packer dated 2004. Back of the jersey has one small piece of adhesive residue from mounting, which may be removable along with a small blue ink line as well. Exceptional signed jersey is without question the finest of its type that we have encountered.
