Description: 1967 Tony Conigliaro Boston Red Sox American League Championship ring. Original ring as presented to Conigliaro as a member of the "Impossible Dream" 1967 Red Sox AL Championship team. Large "B" on the ring top having two inset diamonds of .10 carat weight each. "Boston Red Sox AL Champions" lettering encircles the perimeter. One side panel displays "1967" date above Red Sox crossed bats logo with the other side panel having "Conigliaro" in block lettering above Red Sox hat decor. Marked "Balfour 10K" with small "2" on the interior ring band. General light wear throughout. Conigliaro was a key figure on the 1967 Red Sox team belting 20 home runs in just 95 games before suffering a tragic eye injury when hit by a pitch that ended his season, and in time, his baseball career: EX-MTEstimated Price Range: ($10,000-$20,000)
