Description: 1979 Pittsburgh Pirates World Series trophy. Original figural trophy presented to a front office employee as a member of the 1979 World Champion Pittsburgh Pirates. High quality figural trophy stands 11" tall featuring brass pennants with team names around the perimeter of a large brass circle with a crown finial. Orioles and Pirates enameled World Series press pin facades adorn the center area with "World Champions Pittsburgh Pirates 1979" in black lettering on the front with "George M. Lyons" (recipient) below. "Balfour" manufacturer's decal on underside of base. Very minor scattered wear: EX/MTEstimated Price Range: ($5,000-$7,500)
