Description: Exceptionally rare Grover Cleveland Alexander autographed black and white Hall of Fame postcard. Hall of Fame plaque postcard by Albertype has been signed within the lower front border, "Grover C Alexander." Also signed on the back, "Am gladly adding my signature to the picture, A Friend, Grover C Alexander." Blue ink signatures and sentiment rate 8 to 9 out of 10. Card is postmarked October 16, 1950 less than a month before the Legendary Hall of Famer passed away. Light wear throughout as would be expected with mild age toning. Rarity can not be overstated with this being the first example we have handled and one of only three that we know to exist. Includes July 17, 1950 TLS from Hall of Fame director Bob Quinn relaying a number of addresses for Hall of Famers including Alexander and full LOA from JSA: Card EX, Sig.
