Ball exhibits expected soiling/usage wear with vestiges of League stampings visible. Roberts is one of only (64) pitchers in baseball history to reach the 2,000 strikeout level with only three or four active players on track to do so within the foreseeable future. Given direct attribution to not only the game in which it was used but more importantly the specific pitch, this is one of the most important balls within the Roberts collection.
