Moderately toned Harridge AL ball (c.1931-34 stampings) having been signed by approximately (25) players having a heavy concentration of Philadelphia Athletics players. Signatures include Babe Ruth, Lefty Grove, Connie Mack, Al Simmons, Jimmie Foxx, Walter Johnson, Mickey Cochrane, and Bing Miller. Additionally, over time the consignor's family obtained the signatures of several other notable players to include Pete Rose, Stan Musial, Bob Feller (light), Steve Carlton, and Robin Roberts. Signatures range from 2-8 with the majority rating 6 or better. Includes an interesting letter dated 1968 from Robin Roberts (signed) referencing the offered ball.
