Description: Fine Steve Garvey 1984 San Diego Padres World Series professional model home jersey. Home shirt as worn by Garvey during the inaugural appearance of the Padres in the 1984 World Series. White knit jersey retains its original "Padres" team lettering across the front with "Garvey" lettering on the back above original #6. Wilson mfg. tag with small 'tapered' flag tag found inside the collar with "6 84" number/year strip tag on the tail front. Ray A. Kroc memorial lettering display on the left sleeve. The jersey exhibits excellent usage/wash wear inclusive of appropriate 'puckering' to the numeral and lettering. The offered jersey originated from the Padres manager Jack McKeon and includes a detailed letter of provenance signed by McKeon. Exceptional World Series game jersey from a key player on the Padres team making their inaugural appearance in the Fall Classic.
