Description: Rare 1933 Chuck Klein professional model baseball bat with provenance from personal friend of family. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat measures 34" long and weighs 36.4 oz. The bat remains in its original condition having extensive use including ball marks, stitching impressions, grain swelling to the back of the barrel, and a repaired handle crack. Stamped "Powerized and Oil Tempered" specifically dating to the 1933 labeling period. The knob has some small chips with the barrel end exhibiting some dryness. Klein was one of the most prolific sluggers of the 1930s era capturing the 1932 NL MVP award and accomplishing the Triple Crown in 1933. One of the more sought after game bats of the era.
