Description: 1945 Army vs. Navy goal post section. Unique painted wooden sectional piece attributed to the 1945 Army vs. Navy game. The post measures 62" tall with hand painted titling on the front, "Army 32, Navy 13" above which are signatures from several players including Coach Col. Blaik and star player Glenn Davis. The signatures remain clearly legible with some period enhancements to several names/letters. The back of the post has period statistics and applied newspaper images/articles.
