Description: Unique "In at the Death" May 5, 1925 Boxing Match autographed display sheet. Large paper display sheet was signed during the final boxing match conducted at the Madison Square Garden (II) arena between Johnny Dundee and Sid Terris. The disputed fight (on points) marked the closing of the arena with Sergeant John F. Mullins of the "Fighting 6th" standing at center ring playing taps on a bugle after the final bell. The sheet measures 12"x20" titled at the top, "In at the Death Last Boxing Show in Madison Square Garden, New York City Johnny Dundee vs. Sid Ferris May 5, 1925. Autographs of prominent sportsmen who were present at the passing of the famous arena." The sheet is signed by over (140) individuals including Johnny Dundee, Sid Terris, Damon Runyon, John Ringling, Tex Rickard, Timothy Mara, and Harry "Kid" Brown along with countless others. Signatures range from 7-9 out of 10. The page itself remains in fine general condition except for a joint separation at the bottom 3" area.
