Description: March 6, 1908 University of Chicago vs. University of Illinois trophy basketball. Early basketball has the date "1908 MAR. 6" hand painted on the side with "Chicago - 42" noted above and "Illinois - 17" below. Displays beautifully with original surfaces showing some mild age related toning and a touch of wear. Stuffed to maintain shape. One of the earlier dated trophy basketballs which we can ever recall seeing: VG-EXEstimated Price Range: ($750-$1,250)
