Description: Outstanding basketball player figural piece c.1940s-50s. Outstanding likeness of a player in action complete with ball in hand stands just under 18" tall on round black wooden base. The level of quality is superior to most pieces from this time period which we have seen and it is cast in a solid heavy metal. A hole at the back of the figural portion and smaller one below it on rim of the base suggest an additional piece/portion is no longer present.
