Description: Babe Ruth and others autographed 1928 Bob Meusel World Series Home Run attributed baseball. Red and blue stitched Reach Official American League baseball has been signed "Babe Ruth" across the sweetspot. Signing an adjacent panel are teammates Pat Collins, John Grabowski, Tony Lazzeri, Bob Meusel, Tom Zachary, and Myles Thomas. All are done in fountain pen rating 5 to 6-6/7 out of 10. Ball has soiling and minor wear throughout and a clear coat was applied to aid in preservation. A period notation on the side (written in unknown hand) reads in part, "Hit For A Home Run By Bob Meusel 1st Game Of World Series 1928..." The game was played at Yankee Stadium and saw New York win (4-1), the would go on to sweep the Cardinals in (4). Includes full LOA from JSA: Sigs.
