Description: Andre Dawson autographed "300th Stolen Base" with Dawson signed letter of provenance. Jack Corbett brand base has been signed "Andre Dawson 300th Stolen Base" in marker rating 7/8-8 out of 10. An included letter of provenance signed by Dawson himself states in part, "…the base…belonged to me and is the base that I stole my 300th stolen base on." The game was played on September 22, 1990 between the Cubs and Mets and with a first inning stolen base Dawson became only the third player in history (to that point) to reach (300) home runs and (300) stolen bases (joining Willie Mays and Bobby Bonds). Use and some light general age related wear and the metal anchor remains in place on the back.
