Description: September 11, 1985 Pete Rose 4,192nd hit game attributed baseball autographed by Home Plate umpire Lee Weyer. Rawlings C.Feeney Official National League baseball has been signed by Lee Weyer, the home plate umpire during the September 11, 1985 Reds vs. Padres game in which Pete Rose collected his record setting 4,192nd career hit. Weyer has autographed the ball twice and added lengthy handwritten notations throughout. The first reads, "This ball was used in game September 11, 1985 when Pete Rose broke Ty Cobb record hits of 4192, Lee Weyer, Home plate umpire that game!." The second is a "To Bill" personalization and he has inscribed the game score on another panel. Strong use is evident throughout and the autographs/handwriting rate approx. 7 out of 10.
