Description: High grade c.1960s Mickey Mantle and Willie Mays endorsed "Spring Training Camp" set by Transogram. "New Old Stock" training set produced by Transogram pictures Mickey Mantle and Willie Mays along the upper edge of the backing board. The apparatus includes a molded plastic bat (approx. 29" long), a ball which sits in "Pop-A-Matic" device (which would launch into the air to be hit after a button was stomped on), and a mesh net within metal frame which would send the ball back in the direction of the hitter. All pieces are unused and the piece is in nearly "like new" condition with some minor storage related wear. Displays at NM level however there are some flaws to the cardboard backer which are primarily visible when viewing from behind (including a crease) and it is likely that the clear line and other strings which hold the pieces to the board have been replaced. The first example of this set, on original backer board, which we can recall offering in many years and surely among the finest in overall condition extant.
