Description: April 12, 1909 Shibe Park Inaugural game program (Philadelphia Athletics vs. Boston Red Sox) (Technical GD with VG appearance) Original program issued for the first game played at Shibe Park. Interior pages remain relatively clean with light wear at edges. Numerous players are depicted throughout including Joe Jackson who had made his debut with Philadelphia the year before. Cover has split binding with chipping at bound edge which has been taped. Other exterior wear includes some very light soiling and a touch of wear with a pair of creases on back. Interior has separated from covers and was reaffixed with adhesive on the last page which is now separated from the remainder of the progam: Techincal GD with VG appearance ($1,000-$1,500)Final Bid: $1,115.00
