Description: Rare oversized 1912 Boston Red Sox and New York Giants postcards (2) (Overall GD/VG) Pair of scarce postcards by the Technical Book Publishing Company featuring team photos of the Red Sox and Giants (respectively) on front. Postcard backs have pre-printed areas in which the game date, score, and pitching batteries can be noted. Giants example displays wear at corners and edges with several creases and chip at upper right corner. Red Sox card has similar but slightly more severe wear. Both have Game (6) details hand written on and were mailed to the same recipient. Blue ink has been scribbled over recipient name and address at a later time.
