Description: Vintage pen and ink caricature drawing of Eddie Cicotte by artist Stallings c.1912-20 (framed, EX). Original pen and ink drawing on a 15"x20" piece of art board. The drawing depicts a portrait of Cicotte at the center with "Eddie Cicotte - Chicago White Sox" lettering beneath. On the sides are drawings of three different "comical" scenes with relation to Cicotte or baseball. The left scene mentions Pop Anson. The drawing is signed "Stallings" at the bottom right of Cicotte's portrait. The back of the drawing is stamped "Property of The Adams Newspaper Service - George Matthew Adams - Chicago". Drawing is matted with the back showing and is housed in a 21.5"x28.5" frame. Displays as EX overall.Final Bid: $193.00
