Description: Carl Mays hand-written and signed letter (EX-EX/MT). Dated Feb 17th, 1967 hand written letter on an 8"x10" piece of unlined paper. The letter is in response to a fan letter and reads in part: "I am working with the Hi School coach in base ball and it gives me a lift to see the boys improve so much - So far they have won all their games - Hoover Hi the School, the one Ted Williams came from. Also Morehead, pitcher, Red Sox." Signed "Very Sincerely - Carl". The black ink writing and signature rate 9 to 10 out of 10.
