Description: Ty Cobb single signed baseball with related materials including signed letter (EX-EX/MT). Includes: Off-white MacGregor Goldsmith "Official League" baseball signed on a side panel, "To Karen Moore From Ty Cobb 12/29/43." Salutation and signature rate 8 out of 10 with a light clear coat applied to the signature area. The ball is accompanied by several related items including a full handwritten letter from Ty Cobb to Karen Moore on Cobb's personal "Tyrus R. Cobb" stationary. The content was hand written by Cobb's assistant, and Cobb signed the letter at the bottom. Signature rates 9 out of 10. Also included is the original envelope for the letter along with a "Ty Cobb Science of Batting" booklet. Superb Cobb single signed exemplar with impeccable original letter of provenance as written by Cobb himself. Includes auction LOA from JSA.
