Description: 1996 Atlanta XXVI Summer Olympics torch (EX-EX/MT). Designed by Peter Mastrogiannis. Made of twenty-two aluminum reeds and Georgia pecan wood handle. The twenty-two reeds represent the cities that have hosted the modern summer games. The reeds are bound by two gilt brass rings with the bottom ring engraved with the names of the hosting cities, and the top ring engraved with the Atlanta torch logo and quilt of leaves design. In fine condition, with some scorching to top of reeds: EX-EX/MTFinal Bid: $2,100.00
