Description: 1908 First Printer's National Baseball Tournament die-cut glove shaped album (VG-EX). Rare and elaborate 11 1/2"x10" album was produced by the New York Morning Newspaper Baseball League as part of the 1908 First Printer's National Baseball Tournament held in New York. Participants included newspaper men from Boston, Chicago, Cincinnati, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, St. Louis and Washington. The size, composition and overall quality of this hardcover publication is remarkable. Interior features approx. 100 pages including comprehensive historical information about the league, biographical information about participants, composite team images, stadium images and ornate advertising.
