Description: Rare 1950 Philadelphia Phillies Whiz Kids Champions scroll pennant (EX-EX/MT). 29" green pennant declaring the 1950 Phillies as "Champions". A space is left to the left of "CHAMPIONS" where "WORLD" would have been added if the team won the World Series. The team's players' names are displayed within a scroll on the left. Eddie Sawyer (manager) is depicted with a catcher and Phillies player depicted beneath. Pennant exhibits wear mainly near the tip with a portion of the "0" in 1950 missing. Pennant displays as EX/MT-NM, but is technically EX-EX/MT due to the light wear at the tip.Final Bid: $1,255.00
