Description: Vintage Reach Litw-Wate soft shell football helmet c.1920s (GD-VG). Reach L-W model helmet exhibits moderate usage wear including surface scratches and marks. The leather has hardened and surface shows light creasing in areas. There are no surface cracks. The interior is brittle with the surfaces cracking and seperating. Period inscriptions are written on the front and back of the helmet ("Gail C. Winter 1929"): GD-VG
