Description: 1922 New York Yankees team-signed baseball. Early red and black stitched baseball with faded stampings signed by (18) members of the AL Champion Yankees incl. Babe Ruth (sweet spot), Frank Baker, Joe Bush, Sam Jones, Bob Meusel, Waite Hoyt, Bob Shawkey, Everett Scott, Wally Schang, and Wally Pipp. Signatures range from 2-6 out of 10 with all but a few remaining clearly visible. Inscribed on the opposite sweet spot, "For Ron Pruit from Fred Walker autographed by the 'Yankees' Aug. 2, 1922". The ball itself has a few areas of surface abrasion which do affect some of the signatures. The offered baseball represents the earliest Yankees Championship team signed example that we have handled.
