Classic Topps sports and nonsports issue features colorful front illustrations and newspaper-style story backs covering over 1,000 years of world and sports history up to 1953. Sports highlights include #s 40 Joe Louis (GD), 41 Babe Ruth (PR), 27 Bob Feller (PR), 39 Jack Dempsey (VG), 65 Rocky Marciano (GD), 110 Notre Dame's 4 Horsemen (VG), 128 Jesse Owens (VG+), 129 Ben Hogan (VG/EX) and 154 26-inning tie (EX OC). Also includes (1) extra card #60 Blondin Crosses Niagra (FR) with tough-to-find intact coating, that when scratched off is designed to reveal the news headline underneath. Total: 157 cards.
