Description: "Philadelphia Eagles cardigan sweater attributed to Chuck Bednarik, c.late 1960s (EX). Wool sweater made at the highest level of quality with cream colored fabric and green accents. On the right front chest is an ""Eagles"" logo patch, and the name ""Chuck"" is embroidered on a pocket below. Opposite side has a ""C"" patch (with football decoration). On the right sleeve is a ""CB"" patch and another on the left reads ""67"" (the year he was inducted into the Football Hall of Fame). Schneider Knit tag in the collar (a Philadelphia area purveyor) and there is a ""CB"" embroidered strip tag below. While unable to find any photos picturing Bednarik or other Eagles in similar sweaters, based on the material, construction, etc. we are confident in attributing the sweater as having belonged to Chuck Bednarik. In very strong overall condition with a touch of light natural age and wear: EX ($1,500-$2,500)"
