Description: "1997 Willie Mays San Francisco Giants professional quality road jersey with 2000 Pac Bell Park patch (EX-EX/MT) Road gray jersey has ""San Francisco"" team name across the front and number ""24"" on back below a ""Mays"" nameplate. Rawlings tag on the inside front tail has adjacent size (46) and ""Set 1 1997"" flag tags. The Giants are known to have worn Russell Athletic jerseys in 1997 and it is unclear how Willie landed up with the Rawlings made version but it was done at the highest level of quality and almost certainly is a team issued shirt. A patch was later added to the left sleeve which commemorates the opening of Pac Bell Park in 2000. It is possible that the team had it stored away and added the patch when they needed a jersey for Willie to use during a team related funtion. Hint of light possible use/wear. Includes certificate of provenance from the Willie Mays Collection: EX-EX/MT ($400-$600)"
