Description: 1989 Bucky Dent New York Yankees Manager contract with autographed professional model road jersey (EX-NM) Includes August 18, 1989 dated contract signed "Russell E Bucky Dent" in ink rating 7/8 out of 10. Also signed by a team representative and witnesses. It named Dent Manager of the Yankees. Additional signature of League President Bobby Brown is stamped and there is a September 1989 filing date below. Typical mailing folds and some light storage wear; road jersey dating to the same time period which was presumably issued to Dent. "New York" team name appears on the front with number "20" on back. A strip tag in the collar has been removed which likely had another players' name stitched in along with the year (could have been a holdover jersey from previous season). Dent got the job in August after the season was well under way and the Yankees would had to have grabbed whatever shirt was on hand that would fit Dent. Wilson tag on the front tail has size "42" flag tag adjacent. Nice use and wash wear and the jersey is signed on the front in marker rating 8 out of 10. Includes certificate of provenance from Bucky Dent: EX-NM ($500-$750)
