Description: Boxing lot including (2) Dempsey autographs, Joe Louis photos, and others (FR/GD-EX) Includes 1912 James J Corbett exhibit postcard and an advertising card promoting Animatoscope showings of the Corbett vs. Courtney fight 1897 date on back); (4) vintage Joe Louis photos - one a press photo with original 1942 dated paper caption attached (shown in Army uniform), another press photo with 1944 dated caption on back (shown fighting Johnny Denson), and another showing him with Tom Seaver at the Hickock Awards (framed to 9"x11"); photo of Jim Jeffries at John L. Sullivan's grave and another of Sullivan and Jim Corbett (both vintage prints but second or third generation - International News stamps on backs); Rocky Marciano brochure with stamped signature on front; approx. 8.75"x11.25" heavy stock cutout showing Gene Tunney. This appears to have been removed from a larger piece and is very similar (though not identical) to the Coca-Cola related advertising pieces; Joe Louis commemorative medallion; approx. 13"x16" framed display with cut signature of Jack Dempsey; additional Dempsey signature on a menu from his lounge (PSA/DNA LOA with "8" signature grade); unsigned Dempsey's menu; small personalized and signed photo of Max Schmelling (moisture damage effecting signature); personalized and signed 8"x10" photo of Jack LaMotta.
