Description: c.1900-1904 Cornell baseball team photograph with manager Hugh Jennings (EX) Crisp sepia tone studio photograph showing uniformed members of the Cornell baseball team. Standing in the back row (second from right) is Hugh Jennings. He was attending law school at Cornell and would lead the baseball team for his years at the school before going on to a Hall of Fame caliber Major League career. On original 16"x14" mount with the image portion effected minimally by two small creases on the right edge. These correspond with more pronounced cracks to the mount in the same areas. In addition, mount has some corner/edge chipping and the last name of each person shown is written on in period ink. "Howes" mark printed within: Image VG, GD overall ($500-$750)Final Bid: $487.00
