Description: 1890 "Collision at the Ropes" woodcut by Frederick Remington (VG/EX framed). Printed reproduction of what is perhaps Remington's most famous football related woodcut with "November 29, 1890" print date at lower right. Light toning and wear consistent with what one would expect given the age and having been issued as part of a larger publication. Top edge is not fully visible but it may have been trimmed down. Housed in vintage 19.5"x27" wood frame which shows age/wear and has chipping/loss to much of the accent which rings the opening.
