Description: Spalding Pocket Baseball Scorebook, c. 1882 (PR). Original scorebook published by A.G. Spalding & Bros. has numerous pages of scored baseball games (writing very faint), dated 1882 in the upper right. Several of the scored pages make reference to Chicago 1882, possibly referencing games played in Lake Front Park, the home of the Chicago White Stockings (precursor to the Cubs). Book is very fragile, with cover partially separated and numerous interior pages loose/separated but included. Numerous pages are also unscored.
