Description:1972 Houston Astros professional model home jersey, signed by Alan Nicely (see description). Home white knit zip-front shirt with orange, white and blue trim features embroidered Astros lettering and desirable "shooting star" logo on front with player #54 on back, though it appears the number has been replaced. Wilson size 44 tag is in the collar and Embroidered Houston Astros Astrodome patch apeears on left sleeve and player name "Zamora" is visible on back, though that has been stitched over with a blank patch. On front tail is year designation "72" in black chain stitch. "Zamora 54" is written in black marker on the inner tail, referring to Oscar Zamora, who was in the Astros minor league organization in 1972. Alan Knicely, who was in the Astros minor league organization in 1974 but didn't appear in an Astros MLB game until 1979, signed the left sleeve in black marker, rating 8 out of 10. Shirt exhibits moderate to heavy usage wear and retains excellent display quality (VG/EX).
