Description: 1907 PC775 Grignon Joe Tinker Chicago Cubs postcard with rare ad back (PR). Highly desirable postcard from the unusual 1907 Grignon Chicago Cubs series, which depicts a large bear in a fielding pose and a small portrait photo of Hall of Famer Joe Tinker set against a green background. Reverse, which has been addressed, mailed and postmarked in 1908, features the rare ad for the Boston Oyster House and the Cubs home schedule. Postcard appears nicer than the technical grade suggests, with surface, edge and corner wear and light creasing near the corners. Stamp has been removed from the reverse, resulting in a small area of paper loss: PR ($500-$1,000)
