Description: C. 1948 St. Louis Cardinals team-signed baseball with (26) sigs., including Musial & Slaughter (Sigs. NM-MT). Spalding F. Frick N.L. baseball has been signed by (26) members of the 1948 St. Louis Cardinals, including Marty Marion on the sweet spot. Additional side panel signatures include Stan Musial, Enos Slaughter, Red Schoendienst, Ron Northey, Nippy Jones, Del Rice, Howie Pollet, George Munger, Ted Wilks, Gerry Staley and others. Most signatures remain very bold, ranging from 7 to 9 (avg. 8) out of 10. Ball is heavily toned: VG.
