Description: Jason Varitek autographed professional model baseball bat, c. 1997-98 (VG/EX). Stix Pro Stix 238 model bat with Varitek name and Boston Red Sox printed on the barrel measures 34" long and weighs 30.1 oz. Varitek's early-career #47 is written in marker on the knob and barrel end, dating the bat to prior to 1999, when Varitek switched to #33. Varitek signed the barrel in blue marker with "#47" inscription, rating 8 out of 10, There is outstanding use is evident throughout, with ball contact marks, pine tar residue on the handle and a substantial handle crack that is held together with black tape: VG/EX.Final Bid: $443.00
