Description: Very nice lot of Negro League player autographed questionnaires with better names (VG-EX) Approximately (42) two-page letters which were sent to former Negro League players requesting an autograph. Each had several questions for the player to answer and nearly all answered each question with a handwritten response. PLEASE NOTE that it appears some of the answers were likely written on behalf of the player (and there may be a secreterial signature or two mixed in). Some fascinating content throughout. Players include Buck Leonard (3), Larry Kimbrough, Lonnie Summers, Joe B. Scott, Armando Vasquez, Ron Teasley, Casey Jones, Joe Black (did not answer questions), Butch McCord, Frank Pearson, Art Pennington, Lyman Bostock Sr. BeeBop Gordon, Mahlon Duckett, Bill Cash, Monte Irvin, Buck O'Neil, Charlie Biot, Garnett Blair, Edsall Walker, Cowan Hyde, Al Wilmore, Max Manning, Leon Day, and others.
