Description: Large National Baseball Fan Association oil on canvas banner, c. 1985 (VG). One-of-a-kind banner was designed in 1985 by artist Raymond Moats for the now-defunct fan advocacy group, the National Baseball Fan Association. Nicely executed oil on canvas banner measures approx. 93"x45" with illustration of vintage ball player and text: "We Want You; National Baseball Fan Association." Banner with hanging tassles has age-related cracking/crazing, along with some areas of paint loss, soiling and staining, but makes for a striking display piece. Includes April 1985 issue of the "Fan Focus" NBFA newsletter with a write-up about the banner and Moats, who was known for his NASA projects: VG. ($400-$600)
