Description: 1929 Exhibits "Star Picture Stamps" postcard with Babe Ruth, Jack Dempsey and Charlie Chaplin (PR; mailed). Interesting Exhibit card was produced in 1929 to promote sports legends, Hollywood film stars and other icons of the time. Card features stamp-size photos of Babe Ruth (from the 1927 film "The Babe Comes Home," Jack Dempsey, Tom Mix, Charlie Chaplin, Harold Lloyd, Douglas Fairbanks, Al Jolson and Charles Lindbergh. Card has a heavy crease in the lower left, and postcard reverse has been addressed with correspondence in pencil, stamped, postmarked (in 1939) and mailed: PR. ($500-$1,000)
